Living Systems - Building a Intelligent Plant Automations using LLMs and MQTT

I’ll showcase a homegrown smart automation I have built to help manage and maintain botanical collections, rare and exotic plants, and other artificial systems (reptile tanks, greenhouses, etc.) using IoT and AI. The system I’ve designed uses MQTT to allow users to modularly add and control pumps, lights, fans, and water levels within their own grow shelves or custom setups. React and Python orchestrates the frontend and backend, and AI agents help interpret natural language commands and provide plant management reports with actions.
